This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to provide police protection to the petitioner and his office premises.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection in the year 2015. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
