Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had died and therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect, in the case bundle.

2. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the petitioner's counsel, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
