Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the award dated 23.07.2001 passed in I.D.No.110/94 from the 1st respondent, in so far as depriving the petitioner backwages and other attendant benefits, quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to pay the petitioner back wages and other attendant benefits from the date of his dismissal to the date of superannuation and also to pay the petitioner's terminal benefits with interest at the rate of 18%, award costs. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no more.
2. It is seen that no steps were taken to bring the legal heirs on record for quite a long time. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as abated.

3. It is brought to the attention of this Court that the company is wound up and is now with the Official Liquidator. In view of the same, it is open to the legalheirs to reopen the matter, if they want to agitate the issue and liberty is given to them to approach the official liquidator to claim monetary benefits, if any, due to them. No costs.
