When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent has passed away and the whereabouts of his wife is also not know. Further, the daughter of the deceased first respondent namely Ms.Nirmala is also residing abroad. Hence, he prayed this Court to close the writ petition with a liberty to the legal heir of the deceased first respondent to re-open the same and he has also filed a memo dated 09.06.2023 to that effect. For better appreciation, the relevant paragraph of the said memo dated 09.06.2023 is extracted hereunder: " It is submitted that, the 1st respondent is no more and intimation with regard to the above case was sent (by post card) to the daughter of deceased workman Ms.Nirmala. Attempts were made to contact the daughter of the deceased workman through the contact numbers viz. 9840551475 and 9840907171 furnished by her but contact could not be established. It is learnt that the daughter of the deceased workman is in Canada."
2. The aforesaid Memo dated 09.06.2023 filed by the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent has been taken on record by this Court. Page No.2 of 5
3. In view of the above, this writ petition stands closed with a liberty to the legal heir of the deceased first respondent to re-open the same, if the need arises. No costs.
