Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent relating to Government Letter (MS), No.1 Labour and Employment (P2) Department, dated 07.01.2008, quash the same and issue consequential directions to the respondents to give retrospective effect to the promotion of the petitioner as Junior Employment Officer, by inclusion of his name in the second respondent in pro.Na.Nir.3/26578/04 dated 14.12.2004, above the name of his immediate junior, Tmt.Lilly Thilagavathy, and to grant consequential benefits on that basis.
