ORDER

This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for three (3) months for passing the award by the sole arbitrator in the arbitration proceedings.

2. Heard learned counsel on either side.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that arbitration proceedings is now at the stage of examination of further witness on the side of claimant.

4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate for a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
