ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.37015 of 2016, by order dated 04.11.2016, has directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2016 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 04.11.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the 1st respondent, by filing a detailed counter, submitted that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the same was rejected by the 1st respondent by order dated 19.12.2016, against which the petitioner has also filed a writ petition in W.P.No.26701 of 2017 before this Court. Thus, the learned counsel for the 1st respondent submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition for adjudication and accordingly, the same is closed.
