Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 7th respondent to dispose the petitioner appeal No.25207/2015 filed as against the order passed by the 8th respondent in Na.Ka.No.3505-2013-A dated 17.07.2015, within the period specified by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 7th respondent to dispose the petitioner appeal No.25207/2015 filed as against the order passed by the 8th respondent in Na.Ka.No.3505-2013-A dated 17.07.2015, within the period specified by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance for the fourth respondent.

2.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents 1 to 3, 5 to 8 and 10 and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 05.03.2021 at 4.00 p.m at the office of the seventh respondent/DRO.

3.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the seventh respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021.
