Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents from an any manner disturbing the cultivating activities of the petitioner in Survey No.519/1A1 to an extent of acre 1 in S.N.Pallayam Village, Vellore District in Patta No.2252 as claimed in the representation dated 14.12.2020 and reminder dated 04.01.2021.

ORDER

The petitioner has moved the first respondent/District Collector with his representation dated 14.12.2020 claiming that the petitioner is a parent of a Service Man and sought some assignment of land from the Government.

2.The Petitioner has alleged that they are in possession of the said property and faced threat of their possession from third parties, even when their representation for assignment of land is pending consideration of the first respondent. 3.Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents.

4.If the petitioner faces threat from third parties, then his remedy lies before the Civil Court. However, this Court deems it appropriate to modify the prayer and now require the first respondent/District Collector to consider the representation of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and at any rate, not later than four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to such time consumed in any General Election related activities. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
