Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner 6.The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of the arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen 15 days after lifting of lockdown or the commencement of courts normal functioning, whichever is earlier before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Cuddalore on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of learned Magistrate concerned and pass such further or other orders as this Honble court.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.SAMIULLAH, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.L.BASKARAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in para No.6 in Crl.O.P.No.25344 of 2021 on 04.01.2022 that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-
(Rupees Ten Thousand Only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of 10th Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. instead of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Cuddalore.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed on the petitioner that he shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Cuddalore is modified to the effect that he shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of 10th Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.
