C O M M O N O R D E R Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 31.07.2006, the petitioners had deposited 50% of the amount in the credit of C.M.A.Nos.39, 40, 41 and 42 of 2004 and the remaining balance amount also recovered from them. The learned Special Government Pleader further submitted that the third respondent Society windup even before filing of these writ petitions and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

2. Recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, these writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
