O R D E R

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 24.12.2018 for return of original driving licence to the petitioner, but so far the third respondent did not return the original driving licence to the petitioner, nor any order has been passed by the third respondent. Hence, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent has already passed an order, dated 28.9.2018 rejecting the request of the petitioner. If the petitioner has any grievance, the petitioner can challenge the said order before the appropriate authority.

3.In response to the said submission, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that now only, they received the copy of the said order from the learned Government Advocate. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate and the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the order, dated 28.9.2018 by filing an appeal under the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act and satisfy the appellate authority for the delay in filing an appeal.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
