O R D E R

This Petition is filed seeking to punish the Respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 23.07.2018 made in W.P.No.32970 of 2017.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, keys of the shop allotted to the Petitioner have been handed over to him by the learned counsel appearing for the Respondents/CMDA in the open Court.

After adjusting the amount payable by the Petitioner to the Respondents/CMDA for the floor area, electricity service connection, etc, learned counsel appearing for the Respondents/CMDA handed over a Demand Draft bearing No.860011 for a sum of Rs.64,366/- (Rupees Sixty Four Thousand Three Hundred and Sixty Six only) drawn on Indian Bank, CMDA Branch, Chennai-600 008, to the Petitioner for the remaining amount, which according to the Petitioner, is far less than what he is entitled to. In receipt of the Demand Draft, the Petitioner has given an Acknowledgment to the Respondent/CMDA and has also signed the Forms that are meant for taking over the Food Grain Shop No.G/A-11 Type I Category, in terms of the Agreement. 4.

Also, as required by the Respondent/CMDA, the Petitioner undertakes to furnish photocopy of his selfattested Aadhar Card to the Respondent/CMDA within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

In view of the same, no further orders are required in this matter and the Contempt Petition is closed. If the Petitioner has any grievance including the lesser amount

said to have been paid, it is open to him to proceed in accordance with law and in any event, not by way of a Contempt Petition.
