(Order of the Court made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, Dr.T.Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent had already removed 24 encroachments made by 24 different individuals on 16.10.2021 and has also issued notice to six encroachers on 16.10.2021.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader also filed a compliance report enclosing the copy of the letter dated 22.12.2021 sent by the 2nd respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the respondents have taken steps and are also taking steps for removing the encroachments, the Contempt Petition may be closed. Page 2/3

4.Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
