Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in respect of the impugned Orders/Proceedings No.5122/E1/2/2013 dated 16.05.2013, ordering to recover the excess pay and allowances of Rs.1,83,341 paid to the petitioner already for the period from 01.08.2010 to 30.04.2013 in 36 installments commencing from May 2013 onwards and quash the same and direct the 3rd Respondent to refund Rs.4,841 made as recovery already effected from the salary of the Petitioner in the month of May 2013.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a letter dated 21.10.2019 with the Registrar Judicial, High Court of Madras stating that he has got instructions to withdraw the Writ Petition. He has also made necessary endorsement to that effect. 2.Taking on record the letter dated 21.10.2019 addressed to the Registrar(Judicial), High Court of Madras and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
