Mr.Prabakar states that the petition was filed challenging the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, which has been upheld by the Apex Court in K.K.Baskaran vs. State rep. by its Secretary, Tamil Nadu and others1. Therefore, petition dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
