Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to issue direction, directing the first respondent himself to register the complaint dated 22.01.2014, which received on 24.01.2014 given by the petitioner and other legal heirs in accordance with land grabbing and other criminal laws, investigate and take cognizance of the offence in accordance with law.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the first respondent to register the complaint dated 22.01.2014 given by the petitioner and other legal heirs in accordance with land grabbing and other criminal laws, investigate and take action in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.M.Jayapalrajan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.C.Emalias, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, Mr.S.Rajesh, the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent and Mr.V.Seshadri, the learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent.

3. Initially, the matter was referred to Tamil Nadu Mediation an Conciliation Centre and the failure report dated 23.04.2014 has been received.

4. Under such circumstances, this Court, directs the Inspector of Police, Tiruporur Police Station, Kancheepuram to enquire into the complaint dated 22.01.2014 given by the petitioner and take action in accordance with law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

5. Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the Inspector of Police, Tiruporur Police Station, Kancheepuram.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
