Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th Respondent to confine admission to MBBS course in Government Medical and Dental Colleges only for the students written XII standard Board Examination conducted in March 2015 for the academic year 2014-15 and consequently consider the Petitioners for admission to MBBS/BDS in Government Institutions on that basis.

The Writ Petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th Respondent to confine admission to MBBS course in Government Medical and Dental Colleges only for the students who have written XII standard Board Examination conducted in March 2015 for the academic year 2014-15 and consequently consider the petitioners for admission to MBBS/BDS in Government Institutions on that basis.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing there is no representation for the petitioners.

3. Having regard to the nature of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, and the relief is confined to the admission to MBBS course in Government Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2014-15, which was finalised long back, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
