O R D E R

This petition was filed to declare the examination by-law 61(iv) as arbitrary and invalid and for a consequential direction to the respondent to supply certified copy of the answer script of the petitioner in Chemistry and Maths subjects.

2.Heard Mr.P.R.Thiruneelakandan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.G.Nagarajan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.It is seen from records that this Court passed an interim order on 19.10.2011 directing the respondent to furnish a copy of the answer sheets in the relevant subjects and to preserve the certified copy. Accordingly, the copy of the answer sheet was also given to the petitioner. On receipt of the same, the petitioner did not proceed further to act up on it. By now, the petitioner must be aged about 29 years and should have settled down in some job. The issue that is involved in this writ petition no longer survives and it has become infructuous.
