O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of direction to the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2006.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he belongs to pandaram community of Keelvenkatapuram Village. The said community has a burial ground in S.No.267/1 having an extent of 0.25 acres for exclusive use of its members. While so, few members of Scheduled Caste Community sought to interfere with the exclusive right of the petitioner's community and others to use the said burial ground. Therefore, a person belong to the petitioner's community filed a suit in O.S.No.92 of 2003 on the file of learned District Munsif Court, Arakkonam and the same was decreed on 11.08.2003 against the defendants therein. Thereafter, the petitioner bringing to the notice of the 1st respondent the decree of the civil court, made a representation dated 04.09.2006. However, till date, no order was passed on the representation. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2006 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. 4.The learned Government Advocate has no objection for said order being passed.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2006 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
