ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.

2.The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 28.07.2018 preferred by the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner filed an appeal on 28.07.2018 before the respondent, challenging the order of punishment inflicted on him, vide proceedings No.42170/Sa.Bi(O.Na)10/MTC/2016 dated 10.07.2018 and the said appeal is pending, without any consideration. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel taking notice for the respondent fairly submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to dispose of the appeal, dated 28.07.2018, filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
