This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 10.11.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for a joint patta in the name of the petitioner and her two daughters with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.G.Punniakoti, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that her husband was the absolute owner of the subject property and he was in possession and enjoyment of the same. Property tax and electricity connection, apart from Adangal and Chitta were granted in his name. After his demise, the petitioner made a representation seeking for joint patta along with her daughter. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/5

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make an on-line application to the 3rd respondent along with all the particulars and on receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent shall take an appropriate decision within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of on-line application from the petitioner.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
