ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.,] The above petition has been filed by the petitioner to cause production of his wife Yamini aged 21 years, who is said to be missing, before this Court and to set her at liberty. It is the case of the petitioner that he was in love with the detenue Yamini and that the parents on either side have agreed to arrange the marriage between the petitioner and the detenue and the date of marriage was fixed on 25.10.2015. To the shock and surpise of the petitioner, he received a phone call from the detenue that some of her relatives have kept her under illegal custody and thereafter, he did not receive any information about the detenue. Hence, he was constrained to lodge a police complaint before the respondent police and since no response is forthcoming from the respondent, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by way of filing the above petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after lodging of the police complaint, the detenue herself came to the respondent Police Station and stated that she has nothing to do with the petitioner herein and that she is not under the illegal custody of her father or anyone.

Recording the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Habeas Corpus petition is closed as nothing further survives.
