This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Driver as per Section 25-H of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

2.At the hearing today, the learned counsel for the Respondent-Transport Corporation submitted that the petitioner was considered for appointment as Driver and in fact, was appointed as a Driver on 22.03.2008. 3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
