Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order of the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Salem, the 2nd respondent herein in C.P.No.611/1998 dated 29.01.2003, to quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to pass an award for a sum of Rs.1,97,250/- being the wages due to the petitioner from the first respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he was nominated by the Legal Services Authority to appear in this matter and on such intimation, he has sent letter to the petitioner by registered post with acknowledgment due. The said letter was returned with an endorsement as 'not known'. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reported no instructions.
2.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
