Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner died on 31.05.2008 and no steps have been taken to bring the legal heirs on record to pursue this writ petition. He has also produced a copy of the death certificate to that effect.
