Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the Patta bearing No.43 belongs to the private respondents pursuant to the representation dated 28.10.2025. For Petitioner :

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard.

2. Though number of grounds have been raised by way of this Public Interest Litigation to assail the correctness and validity of the patta granted in favour of private respondents, we are not inclined to entertain this petition, as grant of patta could always be challenged by way of an appeal under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983.

With liberty, petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
