Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner a total compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) towards the police excess meted out by assault and injuries thereto on the body of the petitioner towards other consequential medical treatment and expenses thereto that may hitherto occur, within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
