ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.12.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 310(2) and 311 of BNS, in Crime No.632 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that he joined hands with other accused, trespassed into the room of the defacto complainant and robbed 9 mobile phones at knife point from the defacto complainant and his friends. Hence, a case has been registered and the petitioner was arrested.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case, due to some previous cases. He further submitted that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 13.12.2025 and that the property involved in this case has been recovered. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that 9 mobile phones were robbed by the petitioner, out of which 5 mobile phones were recovered. He further submitted that there are nine previous cases pending against the petitioner including several robbery cases. He further submitted that the investigation is completed and the final report filed and the same was taken on file in PRC.No.4 of 2026 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Coimbatore. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6. Considering the pending recovery of mobile phones and the petitioner's involvement in nine previous cases, though the investigation is completed and 2/4

the final report has been filed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
