(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Special Government Pleader for State.
2. From the Office Report, it indicates that certain records viz., (i) impugned order in W.P.No.2495 of 1996 (ii) Grounds of Writ Appeal and (iii) Order copy of CMP No.78 of 2011 have been misplaced. The original ground and the original impugned order is not available on record. A typed set of documents have been filed by the learned counsel for the appellant, containing the copy of the said documents.
3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the re-construction of the records with the aid of the aforesaid documents brought forth.
4. We, accordingly, take such documents on record and the matter shall proceed on the basis thereof. Accordingly, CMP No.2621 of 2020 is allowed.
5. Registry is further directed to continue search for the original documents and place the same as soon as they become available. Registrar-Judicial, High Court, Madras shall take notice of this order.
