Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other Writ Order or Direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order dated 05.09.2007 in Na.Ka.4052/07 (A14) of the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to implement the Orders dated 12.06.2007 in Na.Ka.4052/07 (A14)(4) and allow the petitioners to join in the post of Senior Draft man as per the proceedings dated 12.06.2007. This writ petition is filed praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other Writ Order or Direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order dated 05.09.2007 in Na.Ka.4052/07 (A14) of the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to implement the Orders dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

12.06.2007 in Na.Ka.4052/07 (A14)(4) and allow the petitioners to join in the post of Senior Draft man as per the proceedings dated 12.06.2007.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

3. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 -3 would submit that the petitioners were considered as per the seniority list and promoted as Senior Draftsman in various Tamil Nadu State Government Departments. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, a copy of the communication reference No.R.C. T2/28411/2018 (Survey) dated 10.11.2020 along with the order of the promotion relating to the petitioners in Na.Ka.4052/07(A14)(2) dated 12.06.2007 has been received. The same has been submitted before this Court.

4. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate and the promotion order dated 12.06.2007 was passed to the petitioners, it is presumed that there is nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication since the petitioners are not interested to proceed with the case even after getting promotion in the year 2007. Hence, the Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
