This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2022 and to pay a compensation for the delay in effecting water connection. 2.
Heard, Mr.C.Mohan Raj, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.P.Anandkumar, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the third respondent.

This Court is of the view that the petition cannot be maintained. If at all the petitioner has suffered any damages he has to prove the same in the appropriate forum, not by way of writ petition and on the basis of his representation. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
