ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.10.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 395 and 397 of IPC in Crime No.51 of 2023, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/4

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an accused facing trial in P.R.C.No.207 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Coimbatore, and subsequently, he had not appeared before the trial Court, since he was arrested in another Crime No.471 of 2025, he was issued non-bailable warrant on 23.06.2025 and the same was executed on 10.10.2025. He also submitted that the petitioner will undertake that hereafter he will regularly appear before the trial court on all hearing dates and also stated that he is prepared to comply with any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that there are totally 5 accused in this case and the petitioner is ranked as A2. He further submitted that the petitioner has eight previous cases pending against him.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner has eight previous cases and trial is progressing, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 27.01.2026 drl 2/4
