ORDER
This writ petition is filed challenging the award passed by the Inspector of Labour dated 29.06.2005 in Na.Ka.E.- 2220/2004 under the Tamil Nadu 7/10
Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status of Workmen) Act, thereby confirming permanent status against the workman involved in the writ petition who are all arrayed as respondents Nos. 4 to 197.
2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent workmen would submit that pursuant to the order impugned in the writ petition, subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, all these workmen have since been absorbed on a permanent basis and they have all been working and many of them are also superannuated from service and submits that as on date nothing remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.
3. In view thereof, recording the same that the petitioner Electricity Board has complied with the order, pending the writ petition and all these workmen have since been working all these years and some of them also having superannuated, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition. This writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
