Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents, its men, agents, servants, representatives, etc., from in any manner proceeding further in pursuance to the Notice dated 23.04.2008 which was received on March 2009 in respect of the immovable properties being agricultural land situated at A.Venkarai Village comprised in Suravey No.16/3, Patta No.93, measuring an extent of 0.83.5 ares, Punjai land, at S.Venkari Village comprised in Survey 1/4

No.91/2A, 91/3B, patta No.2043, measuring an extent of 0.79.0 ares and an extent of 1 acre in Survey No.91/1B, Patta No.2754, except by due process of law.

[Order of the Court was made by R. MAHADEVAN, J.] On 20.01.2023, when the matter was taken up for consideration, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the same was directed to be listed on 27.01.2023 under the caption "for dismissal". Accordingly, today (i.e.,27.01.2023), the writ petition was listed under the caption "for dismissal". At that time, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this court to withdraw this writ petition and gave a letter to the Registry. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.

2. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
