Heard both sides and perused the records.

2.The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioner's family members while they are doing charities during the Sree Varada Raja Perumal Brahmotshavam every year on receiving payment of cost from the petitioner's family members, which does not survive at this length of time in the opinion of this Court.

3.In such view of the matter, this writ petition stands closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

authorities, if necessity arises. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
