O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 04.01.2022 made in W.P.No.1831 of 2021. 1/4

2.This Court vide order dated 04.01.2022 closed the writ petition in W.P.No.1831 of 2021 since the respondent/ writ petitioner was ready to abide by the order passed by the Appellate Authority under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act Cum District Collector dated 27.11.2020. Since the writ petitioner did not pay the monthly maintenance as per the order of the District Collector dated 27.11.2020, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition. 3.It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent that the respondent has paid the entire arrears amount and is ready to continue to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month as ordered by the District Collector and further submitted that though the respondent owns 17 houses, none of the house is vacant and hence the respondent is ready to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month apart from the monthly maintenance amount till any one of the house gets vacant, for the petitioner's rental purpose and further submitted that after any one of the house gets vacant, that house will be provided for the petitioner.

4.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed with direction to the respondent to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month towards monthly maintenance and a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month for house rent, to the petitioner and such payments shall be made by the respondent on or before 10th of every succeeding English Calender Month through Bank. The amount of Rs.10,000/- per month for house rent shall be paid by the respondent till any one of his house gets vacant, and after any one of the house gets vacant, that house shall be provided for the petitioner.
