Heard Ms.Rakshita for the petitioner and Mr.S.Girish, learned counsel for Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for the respondents. 2.The prayer is for a mandamus directing the respondents to apply a formula ensuring equal and fair distribution of wheat under the OMSS(D) release in the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Region from 2006 onwards among the millers in the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry or in the alternate continue to apply the same method carried on in the earlier years. 3.The identical prayer has been raised by several roller flour mills under W.P.Nos.2698 to 2701 of 2006 by order dated 08.12.2021, this Court has recorded the submissions of those petitioners as well as the learned Standing

Counsel for the Food Corporation of India (FCI) that the writ petitions are no longer relevant. Thus, in the interests of consistency, the same order is passed in the present matter as well.
