O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 397 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.1676 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 11.09.2020, the petitioner along with other accused attacked the defacto complainant and stolen money from him. Hence, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent vehemently oppose this petition. He stated that the accused have given life threat to the defacto complainant and stolen money from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

him. He would further submit that there are every chances of the petitioner getting absconded and thereby, derailing the progress of investigation.

5. Taking into consideration the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
