O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the wife of the detenu Manickam for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is seen that the petitioner has given representation dated 14.10.2015 to the first respondent for the release of her husband K.Manickam, Life Convict No.6897, detained at Central Prison, Salem on ordinary leave. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that the said representation is pending with the first respondent.

3. In such circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2015 objectively in terms of the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
