ORDER
Petition seeking bail in connection with Cr.No.09 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(A) of Tamil Nadu Page No.1 of 4
Prohibition (Amendment Act, 2024), is on board for consideration.
2. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He would submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this court.
3. The case of the prosecution, as put forth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of bail, is that the petitioner along with other accused was found to be in illegal possession of 100 bottles of pondy arrack, each containing 180 ml. He would submit that the petitioner is a history sheeter having 32 previous cases.
4. Perused the materials available on record, including the counter affidavit. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a history sheeter having 32 previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Page No.2 of 4
