The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies in S.C. General Quota, pursuant to the selection held for the posts of Group I services, relating to the year 2000-2001.

2.This Court, after hearing both sides and upon perusal of the documents available on record, is of the view that the relief sought for herein does not survive at this distant point of time. Hence, there is nothing for adjudication. 3.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
