Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the respondent herein relating to proceedings R.No.62581/E4/1981 dated 29.6.2009 demanding penalty of Rs.2,30,218/- from the petitioner and to quash the same. ORDER

The petitioner has challenged the impugned proceedings issued by the respondent demanding penalty of Rs.2,30,218/- from the petitioner for the operation of the stage carriage vehicle No.KA 01 A 3474 on the inter-State route Bangalore to Madagondappalli.

2. When the matter was notified on 14.2.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner. So the Registry was directed to renotify the matter on 15.2.2019 under the caption "for dismissal".
