Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to survey the petitioner's land measuring 5 cents, comprised in Ayan Punjai Survey No.400/1, Patta No.3743, at Veeranam Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Thenkasi District, situate within the Sub Registration District of Oothumalai and Registration District of Tenkasi and consequently direct the third respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2021 and legal notice dated 24.12.2021.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey the petitioner's land measuring 5 cents, comprised in Ayan Punjai Survey No.400/1, Patta No.3743, at Veeranam Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Thenkasi District, situate within the Sub Registration District of Oothumalai and Registration District of Tenkasi and to consequently direct the third respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2021 and legal notice dated 24.12.2021.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made representation to the respondents seeking to inspect and survey his property and demarcate its four boundaries and lay boundary stones on four sides and for issuance of patta in his name and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2021 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and after affording opportunity to the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, shall pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
