ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the vacant land viz., Plot No.10 at "Mohana Nagar" (now called as "Thirupathi Nagar") comprised in S.No.374/6, situate at No.42, Vellanur Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District, measuring 2200 sq.ft within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard Mr.K.Premkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and conduct enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
