Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of certiorari calling for the impugned non - notified New Recruitment Rules which was issued to the Petitioner Union under the Right to Information Act, 2005 by the First Respondent herein under F.No.36/PRTC/Admn./RTI/08/162 dated 14.03.2008 and quash the same. This writ petition earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 23.06.2025. On the said date, Mr.Ilankumar, learned counsel on record for the petitioner reported 'no instructions' and sought permission of this Court to withdraw the vakalat. In view of the same, Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and accordingly, the name of the petitioner was printed in the cause list and the matter was again listed on 24.06.2025. On 24.06.2025, there was no representation for the petitioner. In view of the same, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Today, inspite of the matter being listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation for the petitioners either in the pre-lunch
or post-lunch session. In the light of the above, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution and accordingly, the same is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
