PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the petitioner on the file of the respondent dated 06.03.2006 vide No.88/2006 under the provisions of the Standard of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 read along with the Standard of Weights and Measures Rules, 1977 and quash the same.

This Writ Petition has been filed by the Management seeking for a Writ of Certiorari to quash the order dated 06.03.2006 issued by the respondent vide No.88 of 2006 under the provisions of the Standard of Weights and Measures Act, 1976.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner filed a memo dated 02.04.2019 stating that the petitioner Company had come to a standstill and therefore, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has been rendered as infructuous.

3. In view of the memo dated 02.04.2019 and submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
