This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct interview for the post of Technical Assistant in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.

2. It is seen that the name of the petitioner has been displayed in Sl.No.2 in the list of eligible candidates sponsored by the Employment Commissionerate dated 30.09.2008. However, he was not selected to the post of Technical Assistant and as such, the prayer sough for in this writ petition cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
