This application is filed for leave to sue the defendant before this Court.

2. I heard the learned Senior Counsel for the applicant. The learned Senior Counsel submitted that the suit is laid in respect of an disparaging advertisement which was carried on various TV channels and social media within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, he submitted that this application is liable to be allowed.

3. Upon considering the submissions of the learned Senior Counsel and on examining the plaint and the affidavit in respect of this application, I find that the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court by virtue of the fact that the impugned advertisements have been carried on TV channels and in social media within the jurisdiction of this Court.
