[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the alleged disobedience of the order dated 29.01.2020 passed by this Court in W.P.No.1852 of 2020.

2. Today, Ms.R.M.Umamaheshwari, Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Madhavaram, is present before this Court.

The compliance report dated 30.11.2021 has been filed along with photographs to show that the order dated 29.01.2020 has been complied with and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder : "In continuation of the order of the Hon'ble High Court arrangements were made to evict the encroachment on 01.09.2021. Accordingly, along with the staff of the office of the respondent and in co-ordination with the Zonal Officer, Zone - III Greater Chennai Corporation, Executive Engineer, Greater Chennai Corporation, Zone - III, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madhavaram the eviction has been carried out on 01.09.2021 and the land restored to Government Account.

As such the order of the Hon'ble High Court dated 29.01.2020 in W.P.No.1852 of 2020 is complied by the Respondent. It is humbly submitted that this respondent is having high regards and due respect to Hon'ble Court. This respondent is obedient and sincere to comply with the order passed by the Hon'ble Court. Due to the above pre-occupied works, this respondent could not comply with the orders of the Hon'ble Court within the stipulated time is true. Despite this respondent's submission, if the 2/3

Hon'ble Court comes to a conclusion that this respondent has committed contempt to the orders of the Hon'ble Court, this respondent is preferred to tender unconditional apology before the Hon'ble Court".

3. In view of the above, this contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
